There’s nothing more exhilarating, exciting, and confidence boosting than performing stand up comedy! It can be intimidating, sure, but with the right guidance and instruction, it’s something that anyone can do. This goal-oriented course will get you up onstage doing stand up for the first time with confidence, joy, and an itch to keep coming back for more! You will emerge from this class with disciplined writing tools, informative personal feedback and important advice, and a solid 5-7 minute set that you’ll be eager to share with the world.

This class is eight weekly sessions running from June 1st to July 20th 2025. The instructor is TBD. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable. All students must adhere to policies in the Dallas Comedy Club Student Handbook. Must be 18 years or older to enroll and participate.

You wrote and performed a five minute set in front of a live audience! You rock! Whether you’re doing open mics, booking shows, or even submitting for festivals, it is imperative to have a well developed set that can be delivered with confidence and ease. Students will receive personalized feedback with a focus on stage presence, storytelling, and joke set up. This class focuses on advanced topics including crowd work, hecklers, marketing yourself, and more! Students will emerge from this class feeling confident and ready to take on bigger shows.

This class is eight weekly sessions running from May 11, 2025 to July 6, 2025. Class will not be held Memorial Day Weekend. The instructor is TBD. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable.
