Dan Donohue is a comedian, actor, and writer from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He cut his teeth as a stand up in Boston before moving to Los Angeles where he regularly performs at the city’s iconic comedy venues. He can be seen throughout the rest of the country headlining seminal clubs including Zanies, Helium, Hilarities, Punchline, House of Comedy, and the Funnybones. Prior to touring as a headliner, he frequently opened for comedian and actor Jon Rudnitsky. He has also featured for Ryan Hamilton, Ryan Sickler, and late legend Norm MacDonald, among other names.
Dan has amassed a major following on Tik Tok and Instagram—primarily through telling jokes while washing dishes—and has a rapidly growing fanbase. His audience tunes into his original podcast Danswers as well as frequent guest appearances on Soberish with Jessa Reed,The Todd Glass Show, A Closer Look, and Cutting Weight.
Recently, Dan was invited to perform on McG’s “Laugh It Forward,” a five-episode series showcasing three emerging comics per episode, each hosted by different names in comedy: Jimmy O. Yang, Jay Pharoah, Lisa Anne Walter, King Bach, and Rob Riggle (the latter of whom presented Dan).
