STAND-UP CLASSES
About our Stand-Up Classes
Level One Stand-Up
Write and perform jokes that work! This class will leave you with a well-rounded 5-minute set of original stand-up material. You’ll receive performance coaching from working comics who are rooting for your success. This class will get you to the stage!

Level Two Stand-Up
You aced your 5-minute set in Level One, now it’s time to write your first 10-minute set! Explore more complex types of jokes that work better in longer sets. Learn how to write longer sets that keep you staying booked!
Level 2.5 Stand-Up
If you miss having the opportunity to pitch your jokes in a class setting after finishing Level Two, this is the place for you! Led by a senior DCC Stand-Up instructor, you’ll spend four weeks writing and pitching new material. The writing group you’ve always dreamed of!
Students may re-enroll Level 2.5 Stand-Up as many times as they would like.
Level Three Stand-Up
You’re getting booked and you’ve written loads of material. What’s the next step? Level Three is designed to help the new working comic map out career goals and the steps to get there. Whether your goals are to headline, film a special, or tour the world, you’ll have a clear idea of how to get there.
Students must have at least one year of experience performing Stand-Up before participating. This class requires an application for enrollment.
